Ahh.. The Hack Forums. A great place to visit daily for the latest exploits, hacking tools, brag-posts, graphical work and tutorials.
All the categories should be self-explanatory, so I'm not going to explain them all. I'll start off by giving some basic information about the forum, as well as the rules etc.
HackForum Rules
Hack Forums Rules
1. No spamming.
2. Act like your older than 16 even if you aren't.
3. No Flaming.
4. Don't attempt to infect members with trojans, virus, or backdoors.
5. No fraudulant activity involving banks, paypal, identity theft, or credit cards.
6. No posting of others personal information. Privacy is to be respected here.
7. Signature images can be no larger than 650x200 pixels and 500k size. Animated gifs should not be annoying.
Forum Etiquette
These are not the rules, but they are guidelines you should follow if you don't want to get yourself into trouble. ;-)
1. Post in the correct category. Read the forum descriptions if you are confused.
2. Use good grammar. Basically start sentences with a capital and end it with a punctuation.
3. Don't double post. That's when you post one after another instead of editing your existing first post.
4. Don't cross post. That's when you repeat a post in multiple threads or categories.
5. Create relevent subjects for threads. Shit like "OMG" for a subject is immature and asinine.
6. Be kind to others. How hard is it not to be an asshole?
Awards
Awards are given to members who deserve them. How to receive the award is briefly described next to each one.
The award page can be found here: http://www.hackforums.net/myawards.php
H4x$ and user upgrades.
H4x$ are points users receive from posting, voting on polls, and from upgrading their account.
Members usually donate their h4x to other members who deserve the points. For example.. 'Bob' posts a great phishing tutorial, 'Joe' then says thankyou and gives Bob some h4x$ for the great guide.
Members who upgrade their account will also receive 5,000 of these points.
Upgrading your account will make you a HF l33t member, otherwise known as a supporter.
It is only $14.99 to upgrade, so it's worth doing! Here is the subscriptioin page with some information on what you'll receive:http://www.hackforums.net/subscribe.php
Username Colors
Light blue - Users with this colour are administrators. Omniscient is the forum owner, and so he has the blue administrator title and the "OMNI" tag.
Fluorescent Green - These users are moderators, who have less privelidges than administrators but more than HF-Leet, obviously.
Gold - Gold members are the supporters, who have paid for their subscription and HF l33t upgrade. They get access to the VIP areas.
White - White names show you're a regular user with no special privelidges. Newly-registered members will join with white names.
Red - Limited users. They've usually done something against the rules or have just returned from a ban, they can do less than regular (white) members.
Black - Users with black names are banned. They've done something bad and will be banned for the appropriate amount of time.
Usergroups / Clans
A clan is a group of users who usually have similar interests or want to achieve something by working in their group.
You can read the Crews & Clans FAQ posted by Omniscient right here.
Remember to read everything first!
Searching.
Using the search utility is probably the easiest way to find what you want.
You can search for posts by someone's username and you can search in specific categories. This allows us to find exactly what we're looking for by searching what we want. For example, searching "Undetectable Keylogger" will bring up a bunch of downloads, guides, questions and answers. When I searched it, I found a great download for the VicSpy keylogger by VipVince, and an amazing tutorial to write your own keylogger by Mathias.
The search area can be found underneath the 'HackForums' title or you can just click here!
The Basics.
"Where do I start?" I hear you all ask. Well, I picked out some of the best threads for beginners, so if you're competely new to all of this, visit a few of these threads!

Batch Files.
Batches are great to start with just to get the sense of how programming works. Though this isn't really programming, you'll have a basic idea of how things function.
Batch files are usually extremely basic, but they're always fun to look at if you're new to them. Here's some of the fun ones I found.

Denial of Service
DoS, as you may know, stands for Denial of Service. Denial of service attacks are launched against websites to bring the target website down for a certain amount of time.
These attacks are usually not effective when done with tools, but exploits are usually good. I use websites like http://milw0rm.com to find remote DoS scripts.

RAT's
RAT stands for Remote Administration Tool or Remote Access Tool. These tools are usually used to log keystrokes, record screen activity, take screenshots, and allow users to take control of the selected target remotely. The files (logs, screenshots etc.) are sent remotely by either email or FTP.
Here are some RAT downloads and tutorials..+

Keylogging
Keyloggers are programs designed to be hidden from anti-viruses and hidden from the users themselves. They record keystrokes and send the logs over FTP or Email.
They are similar to RAT's, but without as much access. Keyloggers are usually attached to images and music files so people do not suspect them.
